My architectural abstractions are a playful exploration of overlapping exterior urban compositions. Using a cubist approach and creating in-camera multiple exposures, I focus on simplifying objects into geometric shapes and developing a confusion of depth. My interest does not lie in the intended purpose of each structure I photograph, but rather how its physical shape will interact with other forms in the camera. Each layered image disorients the feeling of space, time, and reality which offers visual possibilities and different interpretations for each viewing.
